Ranjini is an entrepreneur who set up, and runs Global Adjustments - India's premier relocation and cross-cultural services company - for the past two decades. She is the editor of Culturama, India's only cultural magazine for expatriates, creator of the India Immersion Center - a unique cultural hub for expatriates and Indians to link, learn and leave a legacy, and writer and experienced speaker at Indian and International forums. She has synthesized the lessons learnt from interacting with people from over 76 nationalities, and across companies, sectors, cultures and geographies, to identify the essence of successful cultural interactions for Global Citizens in the 21st century. Ranjini looks at culture not merely as heritage to be proud of, but as Cultural Intelligence - a tool to strengthen Indian roots and fly on global wings.
Her books include: Doing Business in India for Dummies and Upworldly Mobile - Behavioral and Business skills for the New Indian Manager by Penguin. Ranjini served on the Harvard Women's Leadership Board.
As a long time student of Vedanta and Indian philosophy, she learnt the Gita and Upanishads under the guidance of Swami Paramarthananda. She coordinates, Eknath Easwaran's weekly passage meditation satsangs in Chennai, India.
Sathyabama University conferred on her, in September 2016, an honorary doctorate for significant contributions to the promotion of Indian Culture.
